New Renewal Learner Driving License Fee in Punjab 2024

New renewal learner driving license fee in Punjab 2024 has been increase. The Punjab Government has revised the annual fees for various types of driving licenses in Punjab from January 01, 2024. The updated fees 2024 are as follows:

Learner License: Previously 60 PKR for 5 years, now 500 PKR annually.

Bike License: Was 550 PKR for 5 years, now 500 PKR annually.
Car/Jeep License: Increased from 950 PKR for 5 years to 1800 PKR annually.

Motorcycle Rickshaw License: Remains at 550 PKR for 5 years, now 500 PKR annually.

Light Transport (LTV) License: Previously 950 PKR for 5 years, now 2000 PKR annually.

Heavy Transport (HTV) License: Reduced from 450 PKR for 5 years to 2000 PKR annually.

Tractor License: Previously 450 PKR for 5 years, now 1000 PKR annually.

Commercial Tractor License: Previously 450 PKR for 5 years, now 1500 PKR annually.

Public Service Vehicle License: Previously 450 PKR for 5 years, now 1500 PKR annually.

Disabled Persons’ License: Was 20 PKR for 5 years, now free of charge (0 PKR).

Other Categories: Previously 100 PKR for 5 years, now 1000 PKR annually.

Online Apply for Driving License in Punjab Pakistan

The traffic police have introduced an online registration service to simplify licensing procedures due to the increased number of applicants. This initiative, led by Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, was launched to streamline the process, allowing citizens to apply for learner’s licenses through the Punjab Police app or at any of the 737 police stations or Khidmat Marakiz in the province.

Applying online involves a few simple steps:

1. Register on the DLIMS licensing website.
2. Complete the application form.
3. Upload necessary documents.
4. Make payment using ATM, online banking, or mobile banking channels.

Required documents include applicant’s photo, scanned copies of both sides of the CNIC, and a government doctor-signed medical certificate for applicants above 50 years old.
