2024 PMS Age Limit & Qualification Update: Relaxations Announced for Government Officials and Special Persons
The Punjab government has released the official age limit for applicants seeking Provincial Management Service (PMS) positions in 2024, along with important relaxation details for specific categories.
PMS General Age Limit:
- Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old as of January 1st, 2024.
PMS Age Relaxations:
- Officials serving the Federal Government who are domiciled in Punjab and have at least 4 years of service have an upper age limit of 35 years.
- Officials serving the Punjab Government with at least 4 years of service have an upper age limit of 35 years.
- Individuals with disabilities and other special categories may receive a maximum of 15 years relaxation as per the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment Rules.
Important Note:
- Age relaxation rules for specific posts filled through the Combined Competitive Examination conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission do not apply.
- Employees of semi-government, autonomous bodies, and local bodies are not eligible for age concessions based on their service
PMS 2024 Qualifications Required: Graduate Degree (Second Division) from a recognized University.
