Voter Registration Pakistan: Check through SMS & Online
In this article, we will explore two ways to check your voter registration status in Pakistan:
1. ECP Voter Registration Check SMS Service 2024:
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) partnered with NADRA to offer a free SMS service for voters to check their registration status. Here’s how it works:
Text your CNIC number (without hyphens or spaces) to 8300.
You’ll receive an automated response with your electoral area name, block code, and serial number.
2. Voter Registration Check Visiting District Election Commissioner’s Office:
Every registered voter can visit their respective District Election Commissioner’s (DEC) office to verify their registration details. The final electoral roll is available at these offices.
Find your DEC office:
Visit the Election Commission of Pakistan website
Look for the “Contact Us” section and the “District Election Commissioners” directory.
Find your province and district to access the contact information of your DEC office.
Please note:
Ensure you have enough mobile credit before using the SMS service.
Carry your original CNIC when visiting the DEC office.
